To give you an idea of who you’ll be working with ... 
I was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan where I reside to this day. Writing has been a passion of
mine for as long as I can remember - creating short stories for my own amusement since grade
school. It wasn’t until becoming an adult that I realized this passion was much more than a hobby.
Determined to establish myself as writer, I was proud to finish the manuscript for my first novel,
Dark Decisions. It wasn’t until writing my second manuscript, Dangerously in Love, that I was
able to bring together the resources needed self-publish my novels.
A total of three eBooks and four self-published novels later, my skills were sharpened enough to dabble into a new world - freelance writing. At the time, I was new to the industry, yet blessed to
get off to a good start. Working consistently from my first assignment, I have literally written
hundreds of articles and produced content for numerous clients. One accomplishment I am the most
proud of is releasing The iPod & iTunes Handbook: The Complete Guide to the Portable
Multimedia Revolution, published by Atlantic Publishing Company. Despite previous efforts, this
achievement helped me prove to myself that I would be just fine away from the fiction realm.
With more than 10 years experience as a professional writer, I have reached a few personal
achievements, but Contel Bradford still has a long way to go - still perfecting my craft as an author
and establishing my business as a successful freelance writer.
